Jim Chiacchiero was born and raised in Ashtabula County, growing up in Saybrook with his parents and four siblings. He graduated high school from St.John in 1991. He attended Wilmington College, earning his Bachelors of Science Degree in Education in 1996. Following graduation, Chiacchiero chose the route of business rather than education, and began working for the Xerox Sales Agency in Ashtabula & Lake Counties. In 2001, he had the opportunity to purchase the business, which he owned and operated up until his retirement in 2022. Chiacchiero is the current President and owner of Jefferson Mini Storage, which he and his wife purchased in 2018. He and his wife Shaunna, moved to Jefferson in 2003, and have one son, Devin.
